I currently offer 2 types of on location newborn photography sessions. Newborn lifestyle sessions (done in your home) and Newborn Studio sessions (done in your home or my studio).
Lifestyle photography sessions are more about telling a story and capturing the day-to-day with your baby. The pictures will include photos in your home and of your newborn baby’s environment. In the lifestyle photography sessions normally there are pictures of you changing, feeding, and soothing your newborn baby.
Newborn studio sessions are different in that I use my lights and softbox and the chosen poses for your newborn baby for each image. These sessions can be done in your home or at my studio, both will have the exact same results in quality and look as I use the same equipment. You home would not be present in the photos unless requested. I bring a selection of backdrop colours, headbands and outfits for you to select from. You may request certain poses or props. *For in home studio sessions it’s preferred for you to have a house or townhouse so there is enough space.
For family photography there is also the option of on location outdoor sessions. Being outside of the studio allows for more natural posing and more variety in your selection of images. It is especially great for larger families as sometimes inside it can get pretty tight. Locations are available throughout the lower mainland including: Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Mission, Chilliwack and the GVRD. The location is decided on at the time of booking.
I also now offer the option to have a mix of both on location sessions at the same time. Half studio and half lifestyle.
