These two little beauties, and their amazing big sister Summer, came into my studio at 6 weeks old. Their mother contacted me hoping it wasn’t to late to do a newborn session and of course I was more than happy to try. I’m always eager to try older babies, I do love a challenge 😉 When these girls were born the didn’t spend any time in the NICU so they were most definitely 6 weeks old and oh boy were they ever alert.

Twin sessions are usually longer than regular newborn photography sessions that contain just one baby. The older the babies get the more difficult it can be to get them to sleep and posed. I expected to need to wrap these beautiful girls for most of their session, which helps with older or not sleepy babies, but these girls let us do several not wrapped poses and they nailed them.

When you come to your newborn photography session there’s really not much for you to worry about, all I ask is for you to bring extra pumped milk or formula and lots of diapers. I know how hectic this time can be and always try to make things easier for you.

Remember that it’s never to late to get professional pictures done. At every stage our babies and children are changing so fast and it almost feels like when you blink it’s gone. As parents we love remembering every age and there’s no better way to do that than pictures!
